This is a friendly off-topic singular thread board for weary netizens. Have fun! Sleepy /digi/ is fully functional! https://zzzchan.xyz/digi/ We hope to see you there, plan is to make this board a bunker and move there fully eventually. >Di Gi Charat Music Collection https://asperger.pro/Music.zip // https://mega.nz/folder/wIF0BRTR#g5ppTdw-3noiWBIO8Hv6cQ >Archives of the previous thread https://archive.ph/https://8chan.moe/digi/res/1.html

>>13083 Yeah no I am done with this site as a whole beyond my board to be fair.
to anyone reading the above, i just want to say that you shouldn't give up hope.
>>13085 no idea what you mean by that
>>13084 I like maps like these. Those are fun to play at.

Can anyon recommend me (non-porn) interesting RPGMaker games?
>>13089 Yup, sure can. There's all the Yume Nikki fangames, here you can play some online with other players https://ynoproject.net/ (thx to my friend for linking me this) Vestaria Saga which was made with SRPG Maker, by the former Fire Emblem director. And obviously the best out of the bunch is the One Way Heroics series, which is insanely good, it was made with Wolf Rpg Editor, similar enough.
Afternoon frens, I made my seafood to spicy by adding in too much cayenne pepper. If you're making shellfish like I did, make sure not to put too much spicy seasoning! I've also decided to limit my Japanese learning with manga and doujinshi. When I get more comfortable reading, I'm going to give light novels ago, and then I'll start listening to anime. I'm currently reading Dragon Ball SD right now, and then after that I'll probably give the original Dragon Ball a go. >>13086 Thanks as always John. I really do need to hurry up and set up my system so that I can join your irc. Maybe this weekend, and if not, definitely the next. This week and the next are going to be pretty busy for me
>>13091 Hi chum. >learning Japanese I've given up entirely on that, I simply can't manage nor find the time for it personally while also learning how2art. Also considering the migration of this board to another site soon, possibly zzzchan if they can allow us to move there.
>>13091 >Thanks as always John you're welcome, but i never feel the need to be thanked. i'm part of this community and i'm just trying to look out for it... right now it seems the best thing for me to do is try to keep everyone level-headed while i'm having some hopefully productive discussions. i'm gonna withhold on specifics because right now people are just talking, and there isn't a sort of "final consensus" regarding anything.
Proof that it's me (for transfer)
>>13089 I usually like to play horror rpgmaker games. Here's some one's you might find interesting: >Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea Warning about this one it doesn't show anything sexual but it kind of references it: Won't spoil too much but there is an NTR-tier rape in one of the endings >Mogeko Castle Same creator as Wadanohara and this game is also references sexual things. As you can see, the creator is a sadist. >OFF >LISA (This is a three part series) >Miserere >Space Funeral >To the Moon >Corpse Party (Most known RPGMaker Game Series) And as always you can check out these resources to shift through what you think you'll like: >https://vsrecommendedgames.fandom.com/wiki/Rpg_Maker_Games?so=search Curated list by fellow anons >https://vgperson.com/games/ >itch.io >rpgmaker.net >>13092 It's a hard language so I got you. I'm personally the opposite. I had to give up art for programming and Japanese. You gotta pick and choose one you know. >Also considering the migration of this board to another site soon, possibly zzzchan if they can allow us to move there. zzzchan is really chill, and I like their /v/ better than cake/v/. I just don't want another fatchan happening all over again. >>13093 I totally understand that, but I appreciate your efforts a lot with helping others a whole lot. As I mentioned before, it's good to count your blessings and to show gratitude when it's needed.

>>13090 Vestaria Saga seems fairly interesting, Shozo Kaga always brought interesting stuff on the table. Looked on Yume Nikki years back, didn't seem like my thing back then. If I have learn a thing is that people don't really know what they want so I might consider again. One Way Heroics seems fun also. >>13091 Nice anon! I live far in a area far from the ocean so seafood is rare on my table. We have a lot of fish on the bridge, I can't find my way to cook it though. About Japanese, as much as I enjoy manga it sadly has not much IRL use for me. Spanish is more useful for IRL interactions, German is more useful for academics, Russian is better for literary gains and I find Chinese history/literature more interesting because of how extreme they are. Still going to manage the basic one day, one step at a time.
>>13092 I don't know, zzzchan seems like a more hostile place from some of the things I heard about it (if true). Not that I would know personally since I've never had interest there, but will gladly follow wherever you want /digi/ to be at.
>>13095 Thank anyon. Going to bookmark, have no games in my backlog currently so I can take my liberties.
Something to do with staff moderators doing shady things, unless I'm wrong about that or it was some other place.
>>13097 We have to consider every possibility, regardless this board right here will stay up, Unless I can successfully figure out a migration plan than ensures us the same experience elsewhere. Space princess is preparing, please wait warmly. >>13099 Not unlike here where Globals refuse to answer for bans and are mostly other users or admins under a different alias. Again, don't fret. I have this under control.
>>13100 >and are mostly other users or admins under a different alias. Good point. I've seen that happen before on here.
>>13101 Indeed. Anyway enough e-drama, methinks. It gives me great mental anguish to linger on these sort of thoughts for a prolonged period of time. Have a cool song!
>>13093 >ooked on Yume Nikki years back, didn't seem like my thing back then. If I have learn a thing is that people don't really know what they want so I might consider again. One thing about Yume Nikki is that exploration can be rather tedious at times, so it's best to follow a guide if you are not in the exploration mood. I feel like even with a guide searching for things can be a hassle. But overall it is a very atmospheric game that is very unique, so it's cult following is not surprising. >I live far in a area far from the ocean so seafood is rare on my table. We have a lot of fish on the bridge, I can't find my way to cook it though. Seafood is a cultural thing in my family and where I live so I tend to eat it quite frequently. And seafood is generally not that hard to cook other than just seasoning and cooking it. And I love living by nature and water. It's one of the best things ever. Only thing I have to complain about are the storms and all the bugs. >About Japanese, as much as I enjoy manga it sadly has not much IRL use for me. It's like that almost everywhere. I'm only learning it because there's a lot of stuff I want to read and games I want to play. There are a couple of jobs nearby on a job listing that asks for Japanese skills but they are very few in number. It's also nice to learn a new language. > Spanish is more useful for IRL interactions, German is more useful for academics, Russian is better for literary gains and I find Chinese history/literature more interesting because of how extreme they are. Still going to manage the basic one day, one step at a time. You got that right for sure. I've thought about learning every single one of those languages for all the reasons you've stated (amazingly enough), but I'm sticking to Japanese because most of the content I consume in my free time outside of my native language is Japanese in origin. >>13102 Is this some Touhou cover from some circle or am I just a schizoid? Regardless, it sounds nice so thanks for posting. I shall post some tunes as well.
>>13103 Thanks for the track, and no it's not some esoteric 2hu mix. Merely some random jp track I had saved on me for whatever reason.
>>13103 You don't seem like you might have SPD sakura anyon.
It's weird but my fondest memories of early childhood are of playing this game. There was something quite magical about it, even if it was actually rather devoid of content and very short. The colorful title screen and colored button prompts, plus the oddball design of the N64 controller were really amusing to kid me.
>>13106 >my fondest memories of early childhood >the oddball design of the N64 controller
>>13106 I was thankfully able to play any and all other pokemon games for the N64, but could never fully enjoy Hey You Pikachu because sibling ruined the microphone for it.
>>13107 I could never figure out how to use this thing proper, i had rented Turok 3 (I believe it was 3) a few times but stumbled around like a doofus. >>13108 >Hey You Pikachu Have yet to play this, I might never actually play it. I remember hearing rumors that if you said Playstation to it, Pikachu would get angry.
>>13110 I can't hear this song without thinking of that other version.
>>13111 (TRIPS!) >that other version the mellow one?
>>13095 >I totally understand that, but I appreciate your efforts a lot with helping others a whole lot. As I mentioned before, it's good to count your blessings and to show gratitude when it's needed. i appreciate it. i hope to see an end to all of this stupid drama soon.
>>13105 If this chart is anything to go by, then I don't know. But perhaps it's just assbergers. Maybe it's just that The Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race.
>>13116 I thought this was about espers and that you were one. lol
>>13117 >esper Not that cool unfortunately. I have no psychic abilities that I am aware of.
>>13116 > Maybe it's just that The Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race. This.
>>13116 Social media blurs some of the line between introversion and extroversion since it's made zoomers socially inept; you may just not like normies. Psychiatrists that I was used to be forced to visit once said I have SPD so who knows; I don't care either way.
I am scared of anime scenes taking place near bridges
>>13121 That previous post was just a joke but as a teenager the therapist and social workers thought I has aspergers but I never got an official diagnoses. So it's moreso probably that than an actual schizoid personality disorder. >it's made zoomers socially inept; It has definitely. Kids today are very socially awkward. I used to think I was bad but yeesh, they really need to get out more. >you may just not like normies It's not that I dislike normalfags, it's more so that I simply prefer to be on my own and avoid surface level conversations. Sounds pretentious I know, but I'm all ears to anyone as long as they don't gossip or they don't small talk me. Heck, I can listen for a long time and just hear people out without saying a word, because it doesn't take much to catch my interest. Social media sites (those who are heavily moderated and are essentially giant echo chambers) is just a place that brings out the worst of people so I tend to avoid them. >spoiler That really sucks that they forced you to go to one. I hope they didn't give you any meds because that would be messed up. >>13122 Why is that?
woops forgot to spoiler that
>>13123 >Kids today are very socially awkward Yeah, being socially awkward is the norm today. This is the difference between being merely socially inept and being an actual weirdo; that's what sets apart actual wizards from failed normalniggers. > it's more so that I simply prefer to be on my own and avoid surface level conversations And would you engage more if the conversation had depth and concerned a subject of interest? If yes, then you may not actually be an introvert, which is one symptom less. I personally can't insulate my supposed introversion from people in my life being generally uninteresting, as I act rather goofy online; the only features I identify consistently are the aloof attitude, trust issues, and lack of close relationships. >I hope they didn't give you any meds Unfortunately they did, and they damaged me a bit; nevertheless I was off the meds once I became an adult, so I'm fine now.

>>13116 >>13121 >>13123 >the twenty-first century schizoid man I forget the source, but there was an interesting psychoanalyst that I had heard interviewed. They speculated that those blurred lines between introversion and extroversion have created an unprecedented situation, since one can now take shelter in an alternative identity hiding behind an avatar. This leading of a double life or a split personality is nothing new, of course, but the fact that children, during their formative years, can now lead a double life before actualizing, or however you want to put that, is something that is still not well understood or recognized by older generations who did not grow up with the internet. In this interview, they theorized that the self, or however you want to define that, is being undermined and prevented from developing in a way that was taken for granted for generations due to social media. I think I may also have some sort of "schizoid personality disorder" as a textbook might define it, but between schizophrenia being a subject collection of symptoms and not necessarily anything that can be objectively defined, I don't fret over it. Many artists and mystics, who lead otherwise functional lives, could have had that label applied to them, but labels are best reserved for produce and not people. Vidrelated always resonated with me in regard to this topic.
>>13121 lol yeah i'm not so sure socially inept exists anymore when everyone is a retard. if twitter retards is what socially adept looks like, then to say i don't want to be socially adept is an understatement. but because i can also function without a phone makes me wonder, have the outcasts like me become the truly socially adept alpha chads now? i don't fucking get it. people now need to seek comfort in their phones, even in public, so that they don't have a panic attack because someone has the audacity to challenge their safe space echo chamber ideals or whatever. someone can come up to me and say retarded shit to me like "the government is good and you should blindly follow them and drink soy and eat bugs and trump is bad right wingers are bad, real communism has never been tried before" and i'd probably just laugh or say "how about you fuck off now." but if i walked up to someone and said that kids can't "choose to be the other gender" and orange man good or something, i'm not entirely sure what would happen but i imagine it may involve an aneurysm. actually yeah, the more i think about it, how the fuck did autism become socially gigachad? my fucking sides >>13123 >I simply prefer to be on my own and avoid surface level conversations. Sounds pretentious I know, but I'm all ears to anyone as long as they don't gossip or they don't small talk me. Heck, I can listen for a long time and just hear people out without saying a word, because it doesn't take much to catch my interest. Social media sites (those who are heavily moderated and are essentially giant echo chambers) is just a place that brings out the worst of people so I tend to avoid them. if this is now considered autism then i am so confused because i think this was once considered the norm. dumb smalltalk is dumb, conversations about the weather etc. listening to interesting people is fun. and screaming at people who are screaming the same thing is for autistic retards. we're unironically chads now.
>>13127 >the fact that children, during their formative years, can now lead a double life before actualizing, or however you want to put that, is something that is still not well understood or recognized by older generations who did not grow up with the internet Yeah, straightforward definitions of introversion and extraversion are simply untenable now because social media inculcates high expectations in children of what a fun, interesting interaction is like. >but labels are best reserved for produce and not people Indeed, I don't care either way; that changes nothing in my life if it's not an actual problem that needs fixing. >>13128 >people now need to seek comfort in their phones, even in public So true. I feel like I'm the only who is not a zombie whenever I'm close to, or interact with in-cells; in fact, I don't even have a phone. >we're unironically chads now That might as well be the case.
>>13129 >So true. I feel like I'm the only who is not a zombie whenever I'm close to, or interact with in-cells; in fact, I don't even have a phone. i can still remember before the iphone came out and you would go out in public and people were talking to the people around them. last time i went outside in public... was about to say i don't recall seeing a single conversation taking place but actually i do now. i was drawn to those people because while everyone was so engrossed in phone shit, they were actually doing what people used to do (fucking talk to people) so i went over there and talked to them. they were talking about something i was somewhat interested in so imo the transition seemed smooth with me joining in, but knowing me being a sperg it probably came off like "DURR I LIEK DAT TOO LOL" but they didn't really seem to care lmfao. maybe it's just that when everyone is so glued to their phones that they're getting hit by cars (with drivers who are also on their phones) they were just happy to see someone who socializes the old fashioned way. it's like being a reverse hipster. "i used to talk to people before it was considered uncool"
I've been given the diagnosis for SPD officially and high spectrum/asperger's at a younger age but these things somehow feel completely wrong. I just have a diminished interest given how very different people are now. Nobody would suspect a thing if you had average social intelligence and was easy to get along with years ago. Of course, maybe adults back then were just stupid and couldn't tell when a kid was just being a kid. They're going to do weird things.
>>13130 >i can still remember before the iphone came out Same; I was even capable of socialising before the gap between me and normalfags widened over time. I thought I became socially inept, until I met the in-cells; it's just bleak to see how hollow they've become. >was about to say i don't recall seeing a single conversation taking place Well, I haven't, but maybe it's because I never tried. >knowing me being a sperg it probably came off like "DURR I LIEK DAT TOO LOL" but they didn't really seem to care lmfao Is it really poor conversational skills or are you simply rusty from not having talked for so long, especially with the abundance of in-cells these days? >they were just happy to see someone who socializes the old fashioned way Yeah, I sort of miss the pre-smartphone era.
I was diagnosed with a learning disability as a child because I seriously struggle with math and it would repeatedly hold me back, schooling system didn't care about it even after the fact they knew about it. So I guess you could say that it's god's fault I turned out like this, sosu.
>>13131 >I've been given the diagnosis for SPD officially and high spectrum/asperger's at a younger age That's strange because they usually don't diagnose minors with personality disorders. >Nobody would suspect a thing if you had average social intelligence Meh, don't worry about it; a lot of ASD cases are probably fake.
Also, it was good while it lasted. pajeets are probably going to surpass the spics; this site only gets worse.
>>13135 At least pajeets aren't as bad as cuckolds. I think.
>>13132 >I was even capable of socialising before the gap between me and normalfags widened over time times have changed, at one point in life it wasn't cool to like so much stuff and it became socially acceptable. a good example is videogames. i don't know if computers are considered socially acceptable yet. i was socially outcasted hard merely for my interests. some of them i don't even understand as an adult, i don't understand why i got bullied for some things as a kid other than some really awful children enjoy being mean. i liked toy cars as a kid and enjoyed watching racing and got bullied for that. so i think people just liked being a dick or something. anyway, i find that as more people sink into phones, the people still left talking are at least somewhat easier to talk to. or maybe it's because we're adults now and nobody cares to pick on people for their hobbies unless your hobby is like eating your own shit or something. >Is it really poor conversational skills or are you simply rusty from not having talked for so long, especially with the abundance of in-cells these days? it's probably just me being hard on myself. those people probably weren't secretly thinking "wow what a fucking retard" or anything, i just overheard them talking and joined in a bit.
>>13136 Wait no they definitely aren't as bad, they are just as bad.
Which reminds me of that superpower by 2020 meme that /int/ pajeets would post unironically.
>>13136 You didn't get it. Now it's cucks + spics + pajeets; it only gets worse.
>>13140 It's only downhill from here then, before you realize it most of this site will be a huge shitting street and barely any English posts.
>>13134 Both diagnoses were given by the same person, but with a different age gap. SPD was moreso closer to age 17, at least after leaving high school behind. Being in that environment quickly made me hostile than meek or passive. I still had moments of wanting to be left alone but I still don't know how they could have figured it to be signs of SPD.
>>13123 >>13073 CUNNY CUNNY CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY AND LG FEET >>13057 >lgs with glasses Disgusting
>>13137 >a good example is videogames Yeah, I now get hipster points for not playing vidya. >i don't know if computers are considered socially acceptable yet Given their declining popularity in recent years (thanks to smartphones), I think they might become more niche with time which is a good thing ultimately. >i liked toy cars as a kid and enjoyed watching racing and got bullied for that I was bullied for my interest in philosophy and history; it didn't help being top of the class. I was not totally alien to normalniggers' preferences at that point, however, so I could interact with them normally so long as I hid my pwlvl; eventually the time came when I no longer had any bonds with normalniggers so I decided to isolate myself from society to pursue what I liked. >i find that as more people sink into phones, the people still left talking are at least somewhat easier to talk to. or maybe it's because we're adults now and nobody cares to pick on people for their hobbies Probably both. >those people probably weren't secretly thinking "wow what a fucking retard" or anything That's good enough then; don't worry about it. >>13139 Kek, I wished I had saved the gif. I wonder if the pajeets are still moving the goalposts. >>13142 Ah, I see. Still, psychiatrists tend to exclude SPD when there's overlapping disorders like ASD. >Being in that environment quickly made me hostile than meek or passive You likely only dislike normalniggers then; it's difficult to tell these days.
>>13143 lol, look who showed up.
>>13144 >which is a good thing ultimately. absolutely. everything with normalnigger appeal becomes worse with time. i couldnt imagine how phones could get worse, but they have. now you can't even replace the battery. if classic computers become more niche, in order to sell computers, they're going to have to appeal to people like us. >I was bullied for my interest in philosophy and history; it didn't help being top of the class. funny i was just talking about this. not struggling at all with schoolwork put a massive target on my back. i had problems in school socially despite the fact that it wasn't like i was married to my schoolwork and did nothing but study. complete opposite. i had hobbies, but some of them weren't respectable. other ones that weren't even "too new to be socially acceptable (like computers and vidya)" so were actually more respectable were dismissed. "they must not be cool, because he likes them" i guess. despite the fact that boys and men liking cars for example seems to be a pretty uncontroversial thing. it also didn't help that i had to beg my parents to get me the clothes that were in style at that time. considering both of my parents grew up in homes where their parents did not buy them clothes that were in style at the time and they got bullied for it, you'd think they'd have been more sympathetic to me on that issue. they weren't, and i had to argue with them. it didn't matter anyway. i tried to fit in with the trends. there were really dumb trends where i was, and every community and country etc seems to have their own really retarded school trends. the ones where i was at were no different. desperate to fit in, i tried doing them but hilariously i ended up killing some of them i think because they stopped being cool once i started doing them. once i got older and got in high school and stuff i completely changed though, then i started just doing whatever the fuck i wanted and if anyone fucked with me i didn't tolerate it for a second, would even resort to physical violence if needed. wore whatever i wanted, did whatever i wanted, etc. it honestly got way better in high school for me. sorry for tl;dr >eventually the time came when I no longer had any bonds with normalniggers so I decided to isolate myself from society to pursue what I liked. never had that experience really, never liked normalniggers and became an online shitposter. and i haven't changed since then. once i realized that trying to fit in with people who don't like me as a kid was stupid and pitiful, i learned to just fucking enjoy what i like and either ruthlessly shit on anyone who doesn't like me for childish, petty, insecure reasons, or ignore them like they don't even exist.
>>13146 >if classic computers become more niche, in order to sell computers, they're going to have to appeal to people like us Exactly. No more nigger cattle; no more "ewwww the command line" fags. >not struggling at all with schoolwork put a massive target on my back My grades plummeted when I switched schools (something I did often); I stopped caring when I realised there were no rewards involved and I was only hated for it; it didn't matter in the end as students thought I was too much of a schizo to even harass, so I went on uninterrupted and left alone. Got passable enough grades in order to not flunk and that was that; been a NEET ever since. >it wasn't like i was married to my schoolwork and did nothing but study You are only respected for it if you are a jock. Now I never had anything against jocks as they strayed clear from bullying to keep their reputation as exemplary students intact, and I even had friendly relations with some of them, so meh; only middlings and scum were bullies. >it also didn't help that i had to beg my parents to get me the clothes Never cared about fashion, even to impress normalfags. >there were really dumb trends where i was, and every community and country etc seems to have their own really retarded school trends I was never up to date with trends, though I managed to shrug off their importance whenever I interacted with normalniggers. I guess if you had a circle of colleagues that could have lessened normalniggers' inclination to fault your ignorance of them; normalniggers usually don't mind when you are in packs. >i ended up killing some of them i think because they stopped being cool once i started doing them Kek. >would even resort to physical violence I never resorted to violence save for when I was physically assaulted. >never liked normalniggers and became an online shitposter Initially I felt pressured to suppress my interests as I didn't want to seem cocky or a smartass, so I deliberately dumbed myself down to remain sociable with normalniggers; once I switched schools I stopped caring.
>>13148 >Exactly. No more nigger cattle; no more "ewwww the command line" fags. no more soldering everything together and having no control over your hardware. no more proprietary shit. no more spyware baked in to your processor that is required to boot your computer. no more trying to lock people out of using operating systems other than windows. imagine. >I stopped caring when I realised there were no rewards involved yeah same, i stopped caring, but when i stopped caring i was still passing tests and stuff. i won't drone on about this because i worry about sounding very smug like "i'm so smart." i just really never struggled with it, but i also don't hate people who did or anything. some people find things like playing music easy, or painting a picture. for me it was school. >as students thought I was too much of a schizo to even harass that actually sounds convenient. i had to stop controlling my anger to get people to leave me alone. >You are only respected for it if you are a jock. Now I never had anything against jocks as they strayed clear from bullying to keep their reputation as exemplary students intact, and I even had friendly relations with some of them, so meh; only middlings and scum were bullies. varies depending on where you lived. where i was, the people who were the worst were all from a rich community. they grew up together, they grew up wealthy, and as you might imagine, it made them insufferable cunts. >Never cared about fashion, even to impress normalfags. it wasn't to impress them. when i was a kid, i got bullied for my clothes. as a kid you think that if you change your clothes to what is considered cool, you will get bullied less. obviously, that's not what happens, and i didn't know. you may stop getting bullied for your clothes, but they will still bully you the same amount, just for different reasons. or they may still bully you for your clothes, who knows. anyway, that was the idea, and i was very young at the time and didn't know any better. >I was never up to date with trends some were impossible to miss where i lived. kids would start wearing something, start bringing something to school, and it was everywhere. >I never resorted to violence save for when I was physically assaulted. i'm trying to think of a time where i used physical violence as a response to something non-physical, like verbal tormenting, but i can't think of a time. however, if this is legally not an issue where you live or is considered a very minor offense, i honestly support bullied students using it if they deem it necessary to get the torment to stop. others will disagree, but i think if you break someone's nose once and then they stop tormenting you, it may honestly be worth it. but i digress. >I deliberately dumbed myself down to remain sociable with normalniggers; once I switched schools I stopped caring. there was a point where all of us just stopped caring and i'm glad we've all had it, because it's honestly fucking liberating. some of us may still be miserable, but probably less miserable than when we were trying to appeal to the herd of nigger cattle.
>>13126 >Yeah, being socially awkward is the norm today. This is the difference between being merely socially inept and being an actual weirdo; that's what sets apart actual wizards from failed normalniggers. That is true. >And would you engage more if the conversation had depth and concerned a subject of interest? If yes, then you may not actually be an introvert Depends on how I'm feeling. For most of the time, I'd say no, because conversations tire me out a lot. I prefer solitude much more than talking to people. >Unfortunately they did, and they damaged me a bit; nevertheless I was off the meds once I became an adult, so I'm fine now. That's good to hear. I hate it when children are forced to take medication to dull them out instead of actually fixing problems. >>13127 Interesting subject matter and interesting perspective on the schizoid personality disorders. Social media is a new phenomenon and technically advancement at this rate is already having some interesting effects on society a whole. People may be aware of the positive feats of this progression, but the consequences, especially of those over time, will be very remarkable to see. >>13128 They diagnose people with anything nowadays so I have no idea. Before that, when I was a kid they were saying I has some form of ADHD. >we're unironically chads now. The autist has two paths, he either turns into a wizchad, or a troon. What is between is rare and few. >>13132 Off topic, but I hate that word incel because women throw it around too much when speaking to someone they disagree with. Incels don't actually exist they are just failed normalfags, so basically the lowest of the low. >>13133 Dyscalculia?
On another note, I realized that I've always been that person that people talked to and confided in, but never formed a personal close relationship with. Like, people always liked me despite how quiet I was, but that's it. I was never really invited to hang out other than a couple of group parties and the like. I realize that I never had a best friend. It's mostly my fault for being that 'quiet' kid and mostly withdrawn, but it really does say something about my relationships with others and myself.
>>13150 >Dyscalculia? Sorry I don't remember, I was young. I know it was a couple of issues rather than a singular one. >>13151 I know exactly this feeling you are describing, I was perceived as approachable by some but no one actively tried to invite to be a part of any social groups and I was too socially stunted to have any sort of initiative. Which means that I eventually had no one to talk with.
>>13150 >They diagnose people with anything nowadays so I have no idea. i have no idea either. normalniggers and their perspectives on what's """wrong""" with people like us are incomprehensible to me. as far as i can tell, they just don't like us so they basically want to say that means we're mentally defective or something now. fuck them and their bullshit drugs and remedies and whatever. >wizchad kek. yeah seems preferable to anything else. being an online shitposting edgelord who now finds it pathetically easy to offend probably the exact same people who cast us out in the first place is pretty cool, brah.
>>13144 Strangely though, norms would like me being around most at that time, but it was me that was eventually pushing others away and seeing it for myself that anyone is capable of being bad. I don't want to say it's a general dislike, but more of a realization of what anyone can do. Rather than the likelihood of SPD or ASD, it's just me maybe becoming tired. Very tired. Tired and tired again. But capable of reciprocating kindness and interest to anyone that wants the same. It's really not that hard either and makes it easier to being open minded rather than worried. It is easy to vouch for that most problems could directly come from normalniggers though. My birth was punishment to the doctor that was there during it and months later he died. I want to hint that he risked the chances of serious problems developing but won't say what he did.
And no it wasn't that, but worse and he could have been sued but his death was good enough to bring some sort of justice.
>>13149 >imagine Indeed. >as you might imagine, it made them insufferable cunts What do you define as jocks? The ones I knew weren't necessarily wealthy; they were the athletically, academically accomplished types, who strove to keep their image as clean as possible. There's this meme that jocks are dumb bullies, but irl it's quite the opposite; they tend outperform nerds, who generally have narrow interests only, and the bullies themselves usually come from the dregs of society (e.g. niggers, junkies, and would-be-criminals); indeed, most bullies in my school were enrolled through grants (it was a private school). >some were impossible to miss where i lived Same, but I usually resisted adopting many of them. >>13150 >I'd say no, because conversations tire me out a lot Perhaps you are genuinely introverted then. For my part, I can't tell because I have yet to meet someone who is not a normalnigger irl. >he either turns into a wizchad, or a troon I have yet to turn 30 but I'm destined to become a wizard; no way I'm finding a woman who hasn't ridden a carousel of cocks at this point. >>13151 Not sure if it applies to me, since I don't remember anyone confiding in me; I just know that it feels rather awkward whenever someone relates their pangs to me (yes, even they miss a deceased one) and I fail to sympathise or respond in an affectionate manner. I lack expressiveness in my interactions, but I still try not to be inconsiderate of people's plea for reciprocation.
Naruto beating Lee across the face with a dildo is a thing that exists.
>>13158 Did you know that Birdo canonically uses a dildo in a real Nintendo game? In Captain Rainbow (Wii), Birdo is arrested by the police for entering a women's restroom and the player needs to find evidence that she's a woman. When you enter her house, the proof you need to get appears to be censored... and vibrating under a pillow
>>13157 >What do you define as jocks? i don't think i have a definition. when i was in school, where i went to school, that sort of "jock" stereotype just... wasn't there. it didn't really exist in school for me. so i guess if you want me to just make up a definition now, i would say something like someone who is athletic, plays sports, spectates sports, probably highly interested in physical activities and sports competition and stuff. i don't know. >The ones I knew weren't necessarily wealthy; they were the athletically, academically accomplished types, who strove to keep their image as clean as possible the bullies at your school were very different from the bullies at mine then. plenty of them were not really "academically accomplished." some of them were even quite stupid. they didn't care about "clean image" they cared about being cool, and there were certain things and certain "culture" that was cool to them. other than this culture of "cool" the only other thing that they had in common is they all grew up wealthy and they all had been friends since before they started going to school, i think. >There's this meme that jocks are dumb bullies wait are you saying the jocks kept their image clean or the bullies kept their image clean? i just want to remind you i have never been talking about jocks. "jock" wasn't really a "thing" in school for me.

Only thing I have to complain about are the storms and all the bugs. I'm scared of water even though I enjoyed pools from early childhood. But forests are truly great stuff, the bugs never scared outside of flies being very annoying (you people will never understand how wonderful it is to see human botflies larvae appearing in your grandma's head just because she went to do random stuff around her rural house and a botfly egg fell into her head). >It's like that almost everywhere. I'm only learning it because there's a lot of stuff I want to read and games I want to play. There are a couple of jobs nearby on a job listing that asks for Japanese skills but they are very few in number. It's also nice to learn a new language. Another problem for me is that I need to stay focused on something good for socializing skills. Learning Japanese is something for loners or ethnic Japanese non-speakers of the language that are forced into learning where I live. Also, I would need to interact with Asian people in this case and Asians kind of scare me out with their appearances. >You got that right for sure. I've thought about learning every single one of those languages for all the reasons you've stated (amazingly enough), but I'm sticking to Japanese because most of the content I consume in my free time outside of my native language is Japanese in origin. Another motive I considered those over Japanese because I am nothing of a true japanophile. Japan is a completely alien culture in the sense it is a satellite of Earth, not sure if I would be ever satisfied on getting deep into too.

To our lovely BO, there should be more classic system icons because there's two of us using the Saturn flag. >>12915 >i'm gonna say something controversial but that i do agree with. most people are "multicultural." Yes, and? We're posting on a Japanese-styled website, using a form of technology invented by the British, being protected from DDOS attack by Moldova, and having majority of the sites userbase being American and Columbian. The problem with a lot of the "multicultural" histerics is that they use those "appropriated" elements to declare that you cannot create something unique and your own. Basically that you cannot identify drinking tea every hour as a distinctly British triat because the tea ws imported from India and China, despite the fact that those countries tea rituals are vastly different from the English's. The purpose of it is to simply strip people of their unique triats in order to impose that everyone is only "special" in a way that someone else can declare and identify. Akin to a form of "racism", but extends beyond the skin color based on how you act, how you talk, how you dress, what you eat, what games you play, what books you read, etc.

Unless it's been several hours. Anyhow, pick whichever you want, I just finished StB myself, and I'd say it holds up, so, give it a shot if you feel like it. The mechanics are just really smooth and the cards are fun to play against. If you've ever felt that having to deal with the stages themselves before getting to the boss felt tedious, then it'd definitely click with you. Well nothing special I just made 3 basic health pickup items and got sort of a working MP5 model whose model I ripped off from GameBanan. I guess I should redo the animation again and at least when I got this one correct looking I have something as a reference because for some stupid reason GZDoom mirrors the first person model and I thought it looked fine in Blender. At least with this time I am not doing anything major experimental and do something that is more proven to work, that means its less unique but eh I don't care I just want to play a mod that I enjoy playing it. Thanks for joining my TED talk.
>>13290 It's good to see you having fun again doing something you are comfortable with.
>>13291 Thanks mannu, I guess GZDoom is my next best shoot for modding then. Well not quite my ideal modding platform but eh maybe in the future when a nice UT source port gets released then I can try modding for that game instead. But yeah GZDoom modding is babby mode tier. Though on the other hand it would be a bit easier to have a more balanced gameplay unlike UT99 monster hunt where every monster have bloated HP with no regard for design direction when it comes to monster strength, hmmpf.

Most imageboards in the past would ban anyone who admitted to being female; now there's a frequent stream of female subcelebrities that arise from imageboards and gain recognition there because they are allowed free reign.
>>13294 What advance does it have over GZDoom? I guess compared to Godot then I wouldn't have to deal with coding my own AI as I am terrible at it, but otherwise it seems to be quite focused for FPS games only and nothing else if I understand it right.

Besides being a NEET I don't think I have even that much of a human lifespan enough to even compete for example Sven Co-op map database which if I am not mistaken is clocking at over 6k maps or more, which is what I like about those games/mods the most, its because of it's custom map.

We have them to thank for everything that is wrong with imageboards. They didn't want anyone to protect anything and shamed anyone for trying. >>13298 >Women lack the critical or cognitive skills of men >They are also extremely aware of how susceptible many men are to them and use this to their advantage Choose one. >they are emotion-driven creatures That's too vague of a description to apply to women only; everyone is "emotion-driven", some less than others but nevertheless to some extent. My disgust towards cockroaches leads me not to eat them, and whether or not that is a rational choice (which it certainly is), that is emotion-driven behaviour. You'd be lying if you told me that "emotion-driven" behaviour is not consistently a part of your daily affairs. There must some other aspect in which women's aptitude towards solving the same cognitive problems differs from ours, rather than lacking it altogether.

>>13302 >above all those reasons is that they're not 2D Why? Depictions of women cannot serve you and cannot be impregnated by you; to me they fail at crucial points to achieve what women are designed for, being either an imitation of them or, worse yet, an imitation of an imitation. If superiority or inferiority is to determine the degree of hatred, then the inference is that depictions of women are more hateful because they are more lacking than the women themselves. Wouldn't you say that it's more consistent not to like women altogether, whether it's women in the flesh or depictions of them (or depictions of depictions of them), if we are to uphold their foulness in terms of superiority or inferiority? >White knights are all fucking morons White knights are the result of letting women stay for too long in online spaces; they engage with and "protect" women under the expectation that this will get them rewarded with coochie, since that's really the only reason men have to interact with women, as even women who share the same interests aren't more interesting than the men who do likewise. "Tits or gtfo" deters this by annulling the expectation: if she shows tits, then the men will want nothing else from her, leading to no expectations being built around her; if she doesn't, then she's banned, leading to no expectations being built around her; either way, no expectations are built around her. The problem was never white knights; they are only a symptom of not taking the solemn practice of "tits or gtfo" seriously.
>>13309 >Why? Depictions of women cannot serve you and cannot be impregnated by you Good. I don't care very much about procreation, to be completely honest. >>13318 I literally can't feel attraction towards them. The only time I've ever masturbated to 3D in my entire life was the first time I did it, when I was figuring out that my dick works and had to force it. I've never felt attraction towards one in real life neither, let alone throughout the internet. I don't know how you could so confidently say it's otherwise, when you don't know how other people may perceive things. This is just physical attraction, still. I've met a couple throughout the internet which I managed to resonate and have good conversations with for who they were, so it's not as if I completely hate them as a whole or anything. How I see it, most men in the world are shitty, and so are most women. There are okay individuals among both groups. I just can't find myself attracted to their looks, honestly I'd say that I'm even drawn away. And I simply enjoy the company of 2D more in every regard, anyhow. I'm not interested in procreation so it doesn't matter to me. I feel like you're just applying your own thoughts to everybody else.
>>13319 Sexual attraction evolved for procreation; whatever you have a sexual attraction to is on account of the likeness it has to what you are biologically wired to be attracted to. When this attraction no longer serves the original purpose of procreation, it becomes pointless, and has, for optimisation, to be abandoned. >Towards actual people, yes No, because you can still procreate with them. If you don't intend on doing that, then it's better to be altogether celibate. I'm not telling you to be celibate of course, only that it would be better. >>13320 >I literally can't feel attraction towards them Perhaps, but that was not what I asked. I asked if you are straight; assuming you are, then it follows that you are attracted to women, and if you are not attracted to women directly, it follows that you are attracted to them by proxy; either way, you are attracted to them. Thinking in another way, if anime girls are fictitious, and fiction is always fiction of something, then anime girls are fictions of girls; if fiction is a likeness of reality and anime girls are fictions of girls, then anime girls are a likeness of girls; if you are straight and you are attracted to anime girls, and anime girls are a likeness of girls, then you are only attracted to anime girls insofar they resemble actual girls; if anime girls resemble actual girls, they share certain properties with them that make them attractive to you, therefore you are ultimately attracted to actual girls on account of being attracted to properties that anime girls share with them, which wouldn't exist if there were no girls that anime girls could resemble. >I simply enjoy the company of 2D more in every regard How can you enjoy their company if they are not alive?
>>13322 >if anime girls are fictitious, and fiction is always fiction of something, then anime girls are fictions of girls; if fiction is a likeness of reality and anime girls are fictions of girls, then anime girls are a likeness of girls; if you are straight and you are attracted to anime girls, and anime girls are a likeness of girls, then you are only attracted to anime girls insofar they resemble actual girls this is a really dumb debate even for me and i have no interest in getting involved, but i just wanted to say this isn't even close to being right, fiction can have literally zero basis in reality. you can make a fiction about a world called zzxzxxxzxxzxz and the creatures living there look nothing like anything that even remotely exists and if you drew one of the creatures, there would be some /d/fag that would fap to it i guarantee how much resemblance fictional "anime" girls have to real women is extremely debatable and the amount of parallels you can make between the two is actually shockingly limited. yes "anime" or "2d" girls have, visually speaking, anatomy that our brains would identify as resembling that of humans but even things like the faces are way off. in terms of personality, "2d" girls are polite, virginal, etc. which means they share absolutely no characteristics with real women. tl;dr there are plenty of good reasons to say "2d" women are actually more different from real women than they are similar to real women you can respond to this post and i probably wont reply because like i said this argument is dumb even for me
>>13323 >you can make a fiction about a world called zzxzxxxzxxzxz and the creatures living there look nothing like anything that even remotely exists If the creatures in this hypothetical world of yours don't resemble anything existent in whole, they may nevertheless resemble in part, or be an amalgamation of different creatures or parts of different creatures. If you are thinking about them, then whatever they resemble, as they are fictitious, exists, because you certainly couldn't think of nothing; for instance, if you were to claim that dragons don't exist and nevertheless you are imagining them, then the inference is that dragons are nothing and that you are, therefore, imagining nothing, contradicting the assumption that you are imagining dragons, which is something rather than nothing. The only way the dragons could be thought of and yet not exist, is if the dragon were an image of something or some things that exist, and we are only mistakenly ascribing this appearance of a dragon to the truly existent thing(s); otherwise we fall into contradiction. >yes "anime" or "2d" girls have, visually speaking, anatomy that our brains would identify as resembling that of humans That in itself is enough for all my previous arguments to follow. >"2d" girls are polite, virginal Plenty of anime girls are impolite, as well as whores; doesn't seem like this is a distinctive feature of anime girls but one that some of them have; arguably the same applies to actual girls. >"2d" women are actually more different from real women That still means they resemble each other to some extent.
>>13322 Of course I don't plan to have normalfag goals like procreation. If someone loves the idea of changing diapers and needing to spend lots of money on such a lifestyle so draining, then by all means they can. It's stupid still, but that's what their biological programming says to do. None of this have bearing on how I'm allowed to feel and what I personally like. There's already a mutual attraction of 2D others share, too. There's nothing difficult to understand about it like you're making it to be.

>>13324 >then the inference is that dragons are nothing why am i responding no the inference is that dragons aren't a thing that actually exists in reality. your logic is such a stretch that i could use your logic to say things that are verifiably false. that's how you know the logic is bad. this is utter nonsense and you can think of things that are not based in reality without thinking of "nothing" aka being dead (if being dead even actually results in a complete death of you and your thoughts, and not just you moving on to some other sort of thinking thing) >That in itself is enough for all my previous arguments to follow. no it's not. if that's true, i should want to fuck anything that resembles a human female. including a real human female who has AIDS from fucking sixty niggers. but i don't. so explain to me why that is. >Plenty of anime girls are impolite, as well as whores; doesn't seem like this is a distinctive feature of anime girls but one that some of them have; arguably the same applies to actual girls. you have no idea what a generalization is, do you? do you actually want to argue semantics or are you just arguing in extremely bad faith right now? >That still means they resemble each other to some extent. which doesn't prove that wanting to fuck a 2d girl means you want to fuck a real girl absurd argument ngl
>>13325 >It's stupid still Your doujin artists wouldn't exist if their parents did not procreate; you'd be inconsistent in saying that it is stupid if it leads to something that you like; worse yet, you'd have to admit that having sexual desires without procreating is stupid because that means wasted energy as well as less doujin artists, which is a net loss overall; either way, it's not stupid to procreate. >I'm allowed to feel and what I personally like I never said you were not allowed to. >>13327 >no the inference is that dragons aren't a thing that actually exists If they don't exist then they are nothing; how could something that doesn't exist be something? >that's how you know the logic is bad The consideration for what is bad logic is not whether something feels right or wrong, but whether it's inconsistent with it's axioms/assumptions and violates rules of inference. The dragon cannot not exist if you are imagining something rather than nothing; the logic is consistent. >including a real human female who has AIDS from fucking sixty niggers I never said you would desire everything that is female; the argument only states that you desire something that resembles females, therefore you are attracted to them in some way. Even if someone is attracted to real girls, that doesn't mean they like every girl. >you have no idea what a generalization is, do you? What proves that, in general, anime girls are polite and virginal? What are the statistics concerning this? The only thing we can say at the moment is that some anime girls are polite and virginal, not that this is generally so.
>>13328 >If they don't exist then they are nothing; how could something that doesn't exist be something? fiction. ideas. not sure if you're bad faith or retarded by this point. >>13328 >The consideration for what is bad logic is not whether something feels right or wrong i know, i didn't say your argument feels wrong, i said your argument is 100% demonstrably bullshit. i can literally prove it. pic related. this is a picture of something that is impossible in reality. literally IMPOSSIBLE. it's not nothing, it's a picture, it's an idea someone had, etc. it's something. it's not fucking real. you couldn't make it real. >the argument only states that you desire something that resembles females which is completely fucking debatable because when you think of things that are generally real human female and things that are generally fictional 2d girl, the similarities basically don't go past body parts, and sexual attraction goes way beyond fucking body parts. this is not some undebatable constant that you are making it out to be. if it was, then there would be no examples proving you wrong, but there are tons. probably more than half the people using this board prove you wrong with their mere existence. >What are the statistics concerning this? yes someone is keeping a fucking chart somewhere with every single anime and whether or not the lead girls are whatever personality trait. now i know for sure you are arguing in bad faith, because you are asking me to prove something that is generally understood to be true if you bothered to engage in the culture being discussed here, knowing full well that there's probably no actual stat to back it up, but knowing i'm right anyway due to the concept of COMMON FUCKING KNOWLEDGE. not responding further also you're skating on thin ice regarding rule 3.
>>13328 >Your doujin artists wouldn't exist if their parents did not procreate; This is obvious, though. I'm guessing you'll still find it odd that someone has an "inconsistency" to what they like and what they hate which is fine but none of that can be changed and you likely know that by now. This ride was maybe fun but I'm going to rest.

It's been raining like crazy in Tokyo Fuck the typhoon, I want to enjoy my holiday
quads
>>13332 >I want to enjoy my holiday Read a book, clean your apartment while listening to something educational or motivational, write a short story, make a game like Renanon, practice drawing, take care of those nagging things that you've been meaning to do but never follow through on. Or, just tell Mother Nature to go fuck herself, and go playing in the rain. I especially like driving my car as fast as I can through the biggest puddles that I can find. There are loads of things that you can do. And, especially work that you do for yourself, and no one else, feels extremely pleasurable once you accomplish it.
>>13329 >fiction. ideas That just postpones the conclusion. If fictions are something and you imagine them, then they exist; if they didn't, they would be nothing, and you'd be imagining nothing while you are imagining something, which is impossible. >i said your argument is 100% demonstrably bullshit Why if the logic follows? >it's a picture, it's an idea someone had, etc. it's something Then it exists, as I've already established. Look, everything I've concluded thus far follows logically from your claim that fictions are not like real things; because if fictions are distinct from real things and can nevertheless be thought of, then they exist distinctively as well, that is, if I imagine a dragon, then the dragon itself exists, as I couldn't be imagining nothing when I'm imagining a dragon. Only if fiction is like reality can it be thought of, even if it is not itself real; then you'd be thinking of something that is like reality, which is something rather than nothing because reality itself exists. >knowing i'm right anyway due to the concept of COMMON FUCKING KNOWLEDGE If I watch mostly anime with polite and virginal girls, then my impression would indeed be that anime girls are generally polite and virginal; however, what if some one has the opposite experience? What if many have the opposite experience? Then it wouldn't be common knowledge. Slayers is a renowned anime, and Lina, the protagonist, is anything but polite; if such a renowned anime casts an impolite anime girl as protagonist, what guarantee do we have that it's generally the case?
>>13335 Everyone understands that fiction is not reality, but also isn't "literally nothing at all." Or rather, everyone but you (apparently). This is a deliberately disingenuous argument, and then when called out for how your argument is well understood to be incorrect, you strawman and claim that your opponents just think your argument or logic "feels wrong." That's not the problem though: the problem is that you are then using your intentionally disingenuous argument very specifically to imply that everyone here is secretly a 3dfag. The best explanation as to why you would be doing this is to gaslight, so I'm reasonably sure that's probably why you're doing it. While this is not a blatant violation of rule 3's current wording, this spits in the face of rule 3 so badly that it might as well be, and is an indication that rule 3's wording needs to change to include this behavior. That's not to say you're not outright breaking the rules as they currently stand. You're probably breaking rule 4 as you clearly don't understand the culture here (part of which is protected under rule 3) and are clearly trying to subvert it and gaslight (which is against rule 2). You know exactly what you're doing, and so do I. You're not sneaky. This community enforces gatekeeping, and I highly doubt anyone wants this shit here, even if you make some longwinded argument using obtuse prose about why you technically didn't break the rules. Cease your faggotry. Thanks.
>>13333 (checked) >quads gud get
>>13334 Yeah I'll try to do as you say Probably study a bit of japanese and work on my trip journal If the rain stops, at least, I'll probably go to a museum
>>13340 If it's not ridiculously windy, why not pick up a cheap umbrella and head out? >I'll probably go to a museum A rainy day might be the perfect time to do something indoors like that.
>>13342 >If it's not ridiculously windy, why not pick up a cheap umbrella and head out? That's actually what I did yesterday and ended up spending the day at Sunshine City mall I'm looking into museums to visit, the problem is, some require you to buy the ticket in advance
The more I think about it, I'm pretty angry that he tried (rather poorly) to stealth his way around breaking 3 god damn rules, and heavily disrupted the board while doing so. I don't want anyone to think shit like this is going to be tolerated here, and they're free to come shit it up. I'll let you guys judge whether or not he eats a ban for that absolutely shameful and awful posting, and if so, how long.
>>13322 What even is your point? They're far enough apart from 3D that it's just not the same, I feel something for one and not the other. Your logic is saying as if that you're attracted to your dying grandma because she has some resembling features to women you may like. Let's say that it was true, what does attraction by proxy even matter when I've told you I literally can't feel real attraction towards them? You're arguing against something you don't even understand.
>>13345 >Your logic is saying as if that you're attracted to your dying grandma because she has some resembling features to women you may like It's never implied that because you are attracted to women in general that you are attracted to a particular woman, as the attraction stems from properties held by women in general and not those of a particular one. What you claim follows from the argument is a fallacy of division.
>>13344 Topics like this have been discussed plenty, with always a person being antagonistic while any other person wouldn't mind since it doesn't require some deep dissection. You could even tell it was done in bad faith if they're seriously going to act aggressively showy yet try to place greater importance at the start by bringing up procreation like it has any absolute connection to something you cannot procreate with in the first place. Common sense there. I don't think anyone would mind their ban though. Nobody should need to explain why they hate living trash either. Their existence is disharmonious and imperfect no matter what excuses are made. 2D will always be perfect.
>>13336 >you clearly don't understand the culture here It's not as if I'm arguing out of perplexity or lack of clarity, nor to chastise anyone for what they like; I'm discussing for the sake of discussion, with no intention of antagonism whatsoever. >clearly trying to subvert it and gaslight I'm not fomenting drama, nor antagonising anyone; I'm simply following the lead of the discussion. It wouldn't be fun if I simply took certain things for granted. I will stop of course if that troubles you, anon; of course, only if no else has any more questions for me.
>>13346 So, can I not be attracted to the properties of 2D in particular which are obviously deviant from real women? It doesn't have to be your grandma in particular either, are you attracted to the mass group of grandmas by proxy because you like normal women? They do hold similar traits, do they not? Do you think that you're attracted to grandmas? You must be, by proxy. Again, what is your point? You don't have an argument to stray from. What if what you say is true and I'm indeed "attracted by proxy", what does it even matter and what does that mean? It's not like I don't know my own feelings, I'm unable to actually feel physical attraction to any of them and that's just what it is. This armchair psychology without actually understanding anything for yourself, is weird to me. I suspect you're just baiting for laughs but I'm giving it a shot still.

Maybe I am a bit narrow headed, I don't know. Though I do think that banning a person is a bit harsh, though you do you and you should be the judge of moderating this place. I would rather prefer cleaning up post that is clearly rule breaking or just plain old spam. I am probably already ostracticed by other normalfags for my taste of what I like and so I don't wish to engage with them in the first place. >>13347 Anime is great. >>13349 >can I not be attracted to the properties of 2D in particular You can, but would you like them if they were something else but girls? If not, then it follows that you are attracted to women in general. >are you attracted to the mass group of grandmas by proxy because you like normal women? That would still only be a part of women, which does not follow from the argument. To be sure, your attraction stems from the properties held by women in general, not from the ones held by a particular woman or even a particular class of women. What is true of the whole is not necessarily true of the part.

>>13351 >you are attracted to women in general. Again, what is your point by that? I'm attracted to femininity, the perfected state of it (for me personally) with 2D. You just keep repeating that I, for whatever reason, still hold real attraction to something I never have preferred and never will over to what I enjoy. I already said that I'm even drawn away by the looks of real women. I'm okay with the characteristics of some, it's just that you can't grasp the concept of me not being physically drawn towards them. I'm sorry I can't articulate it that well, but I've simply never been able to and can't feel attracted to a woman in real life when I look at her. It might be acquired, although I've been like it as far as I can remember, but it's just what it is. There's a sense of what's better and what's worse among them still, but at this point I perceive them all as samey and for quite the majority just downright revolting. What most people look at and consider a beautiful woman is just ugly and impure to me. Would you ever say that you would still enjoy driving a beat-up jalopy over your dream car because it still has the attributes and stems off the inferior one, being a car still? I am attracted to women, just not the properties of the ones that are around in real life. You're still not explaining what your point is from "attraction by proxy", because it doesn't actually mean anything. >That would still only be a part of women Well, you've said it yourself. 2D girls, at least in my comprehension, just have parts of women but they're not like them as a whole at all. You may see it differently, but for me they're just something else entirely. For you, they're just an extension of women from the real world and not any different from them, but I really don't see it as that. Your argument could apply to someone else who has an interest in 2D because everyone perceives something like this differently, but I don't see it towards me. I suppose it's comparable to how you're setting apart your attraction to grandmas from the kind of women you're actually interested in, would you try looking at it that way? I just don't consider 2D as a whole to be similar to real women, in any way other than the small specific parts that say "they're both women". And to what you said before, I just enjoy their company in my thoughts and imagination, humans are capable of doing so. Alongside getting to look at them, obviously. I'm pretty attached to some personalities that I could never find in real life, I don't feel that it's simply a substitute as you may be thinking it is. I consider them unique, but, give your thoughts.

Well I got a shotgun almost done now. Took a bit longer to animate because of the shell but eh shotguns are the staple of any FPS geimu. I like this where it is going, just rip some good looking models, animate it and then get it ingame. Yeah I think in a couple of weeks I might have enough weapons ready to work on the other aspect of my mod. One of them would be finishing my old shop menu script since I want the player to buy weapons instead. The ammunition stuff will be based on the regenerating ammo instead save for powerful weapons like nuke launchers. Maybe I should do a form of health regen too. So this mod will be more action focused and balanced around monster packs that are fairly difficult, so maybe something like Hard Doom or Complex Doom should do.

Man the doom II maps really took a nose dive, it's not any fun to navigate through, it looks ugly as fuck and it has shit tons of gimmick that is more annoying then fun seeing it in action. I should play normal doom I maps and see how those maps fare up, I think those maps are actually better. How the hell did ID Software thought it was a good idea to put sandy petereson in charge with map making? His ideas of making maps are fucking shit and its so bad that 3 of his maps have fucking arrows in them because without them players would get lost from his stupid maps. And I am not going to bother playing Plutonia wad either because I know its only fucking shitgunner, revenant and arch niggers spam, wow what a great fucking map design. Jesus christ it's a game made in the 90's and even during that time they were like I don't fucking know on crack or some shit when designing those maps. I would rather play Doom 3 then fucking touching Doom 2 maps ever again. On all the custom maps I have played for (GZ)Doom none of these were as bad as fucking Doom 2 maps, holy shit. And yet for some reason people often make shit for Doom 2 in mind instead of Doom 1.

I've been violently ill for the last two weeks and it just never fucking stops. After living under a rock for the last two years, I think I have finally gotten the coof. I haven't really felt like posting until today. My mind has been a disorganized mess. The week prior I basically just woke up 3-7 times a day, took a hot bath to stop the fever and shaking from overtaking me, and then went back to bed. I have lost some weight (5-10kg ? it's bad) given my current clothes not fitting me properly any longer. I am currently with lingering cough and I have a sense of impending doom which continues and is eating at my sanity meter. I haven't created any meaningful work in over a month and I am sick of it. I don't know what the future holds but I am going to try my best, at it. I spent a very feverish last two days putting together the computer. I need to make major revisions to the storage stack but I am happy to be posting from this thing now. I tested it with some large transformers such as GPT2-XL, GPT-neo, and Stable Diffusion 1.4. I am going to probably fuck up a quantum physics quiz today.
I haven't been here since the guy who always posted pictures of kaname madoka was banned for being underage. Nothing has changed has it?
Cunny?

>>13414 >but are there any other first person metroidvania aside from the Metroid Prime series? Another Bound, Killing Time, Neuro Hunter, System Shock, and ZombiU'' I believe are your closest bets. Arguably also Dementium, Doomsiders, and The Suffering, but all those are actually linear in their progress and only revisit areas for key moments; Red Steel 2 has hub-worlds with missions and secrets, but you cannot progress to earlier hubs after leaving it; Area-51 and SW: Republic Commando is close to a linear Metroid Prime, the first Bioshock allows you to revisit previous areas, but there's no reason to, Borderlands and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. are open-world, but no progression in secrets, I believe I remember hearing that the levels for the Marathon games are very much fetch quests, and that's the best info I can provide.
Wew I am going to have my 6th coffee today. This can't be good for me but I feel great. But if I don't then I would take another nap and I already took a nap. I have shit to do.

sometimes when i'm feeling like i'm at the very end of my sanity, every once in a while somebody will be there for me to really help me come back. if any of you ever have that, never forget that and never take it for granted. there are people who don't have that and are stuck dealing with their problems in tunnelvision and struggling alone. and never fully give up hope, they may be extremely rare but there are some great people, including on this very board. it's going to sound extremely cliche (because it is) but imagine if more genuinely decent people worked as hard as they could to do nothing but lift up the people in their community rather than bring them down. imagine a community where everyone is basically your "right hand man." imagine what could be accomplished if people blindly gave people that benefit knowing that they would get it back. anyway hope you guys have a good day

Think of it like a parent ridiculing their child for wanting to be a fireman because they don't want to see the kid being brought home in a bodybag. And, you see that mindset branch out to everything else, such as starting their own business, or moving to another place, or the person they choose to date, etc.. >>13445 >I'm just unable to comprehend why third world boards are more active than all others except for /v/. Hello again frens, how are you all doing today? I've been personally dabbling in the usual sort of stuff (Math/Programming/Networking/Japanese) but I've been meaning to get into reverse engineering for a while, because I wanted to build my own emulator as a project. I realized that I don't even have the foundational knowledge for such things, so I decided to dabble a bit in a book about basic architectural design, specifically RISC-V since that one is gradually increasing in popularity over the past decade. It's also great that it's open source. I was originally going to do research on MIPS, but I'll save that for another time. The book I'm reading is called Computer Architecture and Design. It is very entry level, so I think it's a perfect fit for me. It explains all the rudimentary information first without a bunch of jargon techno-babble or heavy programming/mathematics. Nice for a noob like me. On another note, I've been meaning to install Slackware on one of my computers because I've always wanted to try it out. I'm gonna use this tutorial right here: http://www.slackbook.org/html/book.html once I get my hands on a new computer.
>>13451 >I think it may be do to the lack of available imageboards for non-English/non-Japanese net users Probably true for curry niggers; I doubt that very much about spics since they are always imitating the US. Owner of spichan may have been an incompetent hack which lead to the imageboard getting pwned and the anons there using 8moe as a bunker since they knew old 8chan primarily as a bunker.
>>13451 >>13453 Indiachan is a thing and fairly active. They probably had metadrama and left because of it, because they're retarded.
>>13452 >Hello again frens, how are you all doing today? Hello Anyon, well I am feeling quite tired as usually again. So I need to motivate myself to get things going. I feel asleep today 2-3x times already so meh. >I've been personally dabbling in the usual sort of stuff (Math/Programming/Networking/Japanese) Wow that's a lot of stuff you're trying to do, you can handle all of that? That's quite some topic to learn.
>>13455 Math and Programming are all school related so I have to them anyways. Networking is more so reading up on a TCP/IP guide like this one: http://www.tcpipguide.com/free/t_WhatIsNetworking.htm so it's not really too much at all. I wanted to learn more about that kinda stuff so that's why I'm just casually reading about it. Japanese is just me taking it at a slow pace. It's going to take a long time to learn, but a little bit every day helps. >So I need to motivate myself to get things going. I feel asleep today 2-3x times already so meh. I'm in the same boat lol. But my problem is that I need to cut down more on the carbs (even more so than I already have) and take my vitamins every day, which I haven't been doing admittedly.
>>13456 Ah well then good luck with you. I thought you were doing this all alone or something. >I'm in the same boat lol. But my problem is that I need to cut down more on the carbs (even more so than I already have) and take my vitamins every day, which I haven't been doing admittedly. Hmm well for one I am not so well feed anymore the past several days as I mostly stuck with noodles and soup now, though admittedly its because I am really too lazy to cook myself a heavier meal, oh well.

>>13469 Not this shit again
>>13471 Yes. Because that's what happens with every single country-based chan, pretty much. I don't think I can recall a single one that didn't have a group of people break off from it because of whatever kind of drama, and move on to another board. Even Turkey had like three or four different imageboards for it at some point, it literally doesn't matter how small the gathering is, they will find a reason to break off. I guess for some reason that imageboards just don't work out when you band a bunch of autists under the banner that they all speak the same language, and nothing else. They tend to use sites like this where you can make a board easily as a panic room or something, until they either get their own or move to Discord. Or just wither away. But the spics have been here a while now, so, I don't know, maybe they're making themselves at home. Good for them, and I'm glad the admin has to spend money to keep the site up, just for it to house that cancer.
>>13469 You just reminded me, I had to reset my PC and I thought I lost my save files to Silent Hill 2 and Dragon Ball Tenkaichi Budokai 3 but it looks like it's all still there. I'm absolutely relived because I put in a lot of hours for those two games.

>>13482 >what does it mean It means you think, and don't have much worth thinking :^)
>>13483 >and don't have much worth thinking i beg to differ. i am a bit of a philosopher. questions i ask myself: who has the tighter cunny, rumia or cirno? if i licked cirno's cunny, would my tongue stick to her like an ice cube? how many people need to die in order to make anime real? as you can see i can be very profound
>>13485 >rumia or cirno? Probably Cirno, if she has recently died and respawned. Fairies are downright immortal while youkai just live for very long. But not all if any change physically while doing so, and, if there were any damage done to make them loose, they'd regenerate from it anyway, since it's said that they can even recover from getting cut into pieces. Physical damage just isn't much to them. Who knows if Rumia either doesn't age at all or just does so very slowly, though, because the matter kind of depends on that, alongside just the specifics of her form which we don't know, it's all speculation. I'd still put my bet on Cirno, because again, total immortality. A freshly spawned body of hers in the right season is probably as most as it's going to get. Although, the catch is that she'd likely die if you tried to do her in any way. >would my tongue stick to her like an ice cube? No. Her body isn't actually cold. Even the opposite, she doesn't make things cold out of nowhere, she absorbs the heat from the environment to make something cold, so it's that her body warms up whenever she does it. On the other hand, licking Rumia might actually make your tongue stick to her. She doesn't like the heat, and so keeps herself in a blob of manifested darkness to keep sunlight out, therefore she'd likely be extremely cold as if in space. And apparently, the temperature in space is about 14 or so times colder than how much it needs to be for your tongue to stick to metal, so, I'd imagine that it's enough. It just needs for your saliva to freeze solid when it comes in contact, for it to happen. It's plausible.
>>13486 >actual serious response my fucking sides you forgot the last one, how many people need to die in order to make anime real?

I never did get to finish the dream but part of me knew that Broly was going to die violently from a finger flick to the forehead. For some reason, I only get these bursts of wild dreams seldomly while half of the time there can be no dreams on average. But one thing that impresses me more are the ones that send predictions or warnings of something that could happen. Or sometimes I can wake up and then be hit with the thought of something strongly being possible that was not originally on my mind or coming from a dream. >>13500 I'm not super into it but had exposure from some of the games and watching Raw/Smackdown in 6th grade. Mother also had someone in their family that was big into it and through them learned a few things and even got to see it in person. Not sure if it was her or the person that used to take her that got to see André the Giant.
>>13507 >Or sometimes I can wake up and then be hit with the thought of something strongly being possible that was not originally on my mind or coming from a dream. Sometimes I get paranoid about thoughts that seemingly happened but actually never did and I begin to worry about them, I once even dreamed of my teeth falling off and woke up touching my face really worried. But sometimes it's more subtle, and it begins to intertwine with my real thoughts implanting something, creeping there as if it were real. >Midjourney I made a burner account for that but something happened that prevented me from moving further. I believe it uses a phone number verification system.
>>13508 You could just give it a fake phone number, y'know. I knew a site for that but forgot the link due to lack of use.
I can't believe the join process is involving discord though. I'm not good at all begging in some chat server to begin with. >>13286 Quite a late reply, but replying anyway. >What would you say for Italian, Swedish, & French? Italian is great if you enjoy Italian-speaking culture (operas, music, cinema and whatnot). Not much else I think, never enjoyed my experiences with the numerous Italian diaspora in my homeland and it might be weighting on my opinion. I have to recognize they are fairly good at music here though. Swedish is good if you have a major on engineering or anything else in a STEM area. I don't like Swedes/Sweden nor I am a engineer so I don't care for learning Swedish. French is a major option for a motive but also one option you can avoid for another in my opinion. The French suck, France sucks, essential French-language culture is usually translated well into other Romance languages and the neighboring Germanic ones. Really, you don't need to care for them if you are not going to live/work with them. >Spanish is the cheapest & fastest option but I feel a bit of hesitancy in learning it. Can elaborate why? I think Spanish is quite useful. Opens such wide possibilities and it has been culturally relevant for so long I can understand well why you are hesitant. Can get Spanish-speaker diaspora in North America sucks and the most relevant Hispanic countries (namely Spain itself, Argentina and Venezuela, for example) are in a decadent spiral of irrelevance. Don't think I can think of much else. Also makes understanding Portuguese easier (if you care about) since Portuguese is nothing more than a variation on the Galician language of Spain.

>>13580 >The reverse for me; the moment I burnt out of it was the moment I lost all joy in playing it. i wouldn't say that's really the reverse, i lost most joy in playing. actually that's not true, i had a lot of fun with a couple of games i've picked up in the past few years. it's very rare though, and one of them was a game i have already played, but just decided to pick up again years later, and i had (almost) as much fun as the first time i played it. i was pleasantly surprised. i think i just need to choose what vidya i play carefully. i think there are still some games that i can play where i end up having a lot of fun, but i guess i'm just more picky now maybe. i definitely mostly burned out, but some games still give me that spark of joy.
>>13576 Hmm well I guess you need a certain mentality to ignore the repetion or something. I mean, with more content being created each passing day it becomes nearly mission impossible to stand out.

Also not big fan on their accents & speech. Last time I tried watching a movie dubbed in Spanish it felt like they talked too fast. I don't have a major in anything STEM, but I find myself allured with the Swedes' aesthetics as far as their books and comfy winters. Guess it might be better to pick Italian instead of Swedish, I really like their foods & arts and what few pieces of music I listened to in Italian or composed by them gave me good vibes. Going by exposures to these two languages, I have more contact with Italian.

>>13591 Oh funnily enough the Godot documentation on serialiation did what I wanted and since its a simple program I am making right now I think I can leave it as it is, though I had to do some modification with the code since mine is GUI based only and not a real 2D Game, because for some reason things like nodes based on Control class are using rect_position variable instead of position for position which is odd. Now I just need to functions for the other number calculation and fixing the bug where score and allowance variable gets more points then it should get, well at least I also fixed the bug where the float variable doesn't get properly displayed somehow.
>>13586 >>13587 >>13589 He's evaluating the imageboards in terms of how steeped they are in the botnet; needless to say the webring IBs come on top. The fact is that 8moe and others in the webring are the best relative to the turd.
>>13593 >He's evaluating the imageboards in terms of how steeped they are in the botnet that's just not true because both zzzchan and 8niggercuck.gov have tor onions, and zzzchan uses jschan which is more functional than lynxchan without javascript. more than half the criteria he's rating this shit on has nothing to do with """botnet""" >needless to say the webring IBs come on top lol no, 8nigger was rated top, he only rated two webring sites and they came below 8nigger. in fact one of them he trashed. also, i'd just like to point out, he put reddit above 4chan. reddit, the place where shit like "twoxchromomsomes" is a top board, and a place where discussing donald trump was too much for the site staff so they banned it. say whatever you want about 4chan but they've never cucked so bad that discussions of donald trump are banned for being too far right or something. >Besides, do you even know an imageboard that's actually good lol no. IBs have not been good for a long time and this is no secret. >The fact is that 8moe and others in the webring are the best relative to the turd. first of all this site is not a webring site, it honestly never really truly was either since the disingenuous staff here, despite months of promising, refused to properly implement the webring plugin. instead they purposefully broke it so this site was advertised all over the webring and literally nothing else, webring boards were never displayed here. second of all no, this site is not "best" relative to anything at all. in fact, this is probably the worst IB i've ever seen (relative to literally every other IB i've ever seen). third of all yes, the webring sites are not as bad as some of the worst sites (basically meaning this one). but just because this place is pretty much one of the worst IBs in history doesn't suddenly mean places like PLW and smug (ugh) are actual good sites. tl;dr lol no you're retarded

At any rate, the global rules explicitly prohibit the distribution of illegal material (which I presume includes piracy, since it's de jure illegal), so none of this was unwarranted. The other things you mentioned are indeed fault-worthy. >Not found Huh.
>>13601 >In what regards? Genuine question. tom (jschan developer) made a lot of tradeoffs in order to get site functionality to work properly even when you're using, say, tor browser with all javascript turned off. for example, this meant integrating the webring directly into the software as an option (and not some kind of plugin) and having the board sorting being handled serverside rather than letting the client run some js and sort the boards in a variety of orders. there were/are other things that i can't remember off the top of my head that he aped from things like nanochan that may have ended up making their way into lynxchan's default frontend or something but i don't know. jschan was designed to be as functional as possible with no javascript, that much i know. >only rated the latter higher because the administration is better yeah i know, which is why i can't agree that his ratings were primarily about botnet. using jschan should provide a better boardlist using tor with no JS, due to trade-offs that jschan is willing to make (more work for the server) and he doesn't seem to recognize this, and then he will rate for things like "administration" which has nothing to do with "botnet" (and he doesn't even get things like administration ratings correct). basically this "dig deeper" guy is laughably dumb. you can tell he only has surface level knowledge. >nanochan is censoring "antivaxx" threads, nonopolitics and racism; say whatever you wish about blacked.moe, but it's never gone that far, so at least in that the score is warranted. that may be fair enough (and i can't confirm this) but this also doesn't warrant the "top tier" rating for 8nigger at all. just because nanochan is probably a shithole doesn't mean this is "THE place" for discussing vidya (lol, a board run by mark, seriously?) and has "high quality discussion" and "good administration." so i guess maybe this and nanochan need the "shit tier" rating. >I told you he wasn't focusing on the user experience per se. except he is. he's totally talking about user experience when he wants to, and then he ignores it when he wants to, and doesn't even mind getting shit wrong. he's moving the goalposts, basically. >I distinctively remember anoncafe's boards being displayed here months ago. not in the correct way. everything non-8nigger was just haphazardly dumped at the bottom of the lynxchan boardlist, with no ability to sort site-agnostically. basically, meaning they were all hidden from the public eye on the last pages of a site feature that probably almost nobody was using. >>13602 >I don't feel up to it. am i going to have to start becoming this board's Philosopher Autismo Numero Uno?
>>13605 >Not found Odd, i must have misquoted it >>>/v/698135 >>>/v/698146
>>13603 Sure. Have a good one.
>>13606 >there were/are other things that i can't remember off the top of my head The bit about the webring and TOR seems interesting, but you do remember anything else? Like with live updates and such? The only reason I have JS enabled on blacked.moe is for convenience, but it works well enough without it (to me at least). >he doesn't seem to recognize this, and then he will rate for things like "administration" which has nothing to do with "botnet" He said 8moe and sleepy are similar enough (i.e. neither of them have the egregious registration/anonymity violations of the others) where the deciding factor for the rating rested upon the "quality of moderation" (as he puts it); though I agree giving 8moe a higher rating for just that is sloppy. >he's totally talking about user experience when he wants to It's not his primary focus; the privacy/anonymity criteria are more concerning to him. >"Low tier is the best rating a forum with recaptcha can get" >"Any forum that has forced deanonymization will not get a rating higher than Very low" User experience, to him, has least priority, which is why cuckchan is rated lower than plebbit (i.e. for not allowing proxies at all). >>13607 I wonder what you were referring to when you spoke of grooming on /b/; so it was the incident involving britanon. Well, both cases (/hebe/ revitalisation and the previous pedonigger BO of /b/) were rectified as far as I see, so I think this speaks more about the incompetence of the administration than anything else (whether due to apathy or something else entirely).
>>13609 >The bit about the webring and TOR seems interesting, but you do remember anything else? i think literally everything works except for clicking a post number and getting a quote automatically in quick reply, but to my understanding this is impossible to do without javascript. i think jschan was the first to ape nanochan's no-js-required quick reply, but i think it has also been adapted into lynxchan at a later date (or maybe it only works in 8nigger's "alelph" frontend, no idea) i would also need to test whether or not quotes to a post display on lynxchan with the default interface with JS turned off, whether they display on 8nigger with its interface with JS turned off, or whether this only works on jschan. because i remember this is something else that tom spent a lot of time getting working without client side javascript. >though I agree giving 8moe a higher rating for just that is sloppy. really the problem is he blatantly changes his focus and moves the goalposts. his assessment of this site is a ramble about non-"botnet" related things, and they're overwhelmingly easy to argue as incorrect. even if you can't say for sure that they're flat out incorrect, you can at least argue that they are completely subjective. i think i'm best off just saying "moving goalposts" and being done with it tbh >It's not his primary focus; the privacy/anonymity criteria are more concerning to him. i just disagree and have stated why. i like the description you used of "sloppy." that perfectly describes his entire webpage for rating online communities.

>>13619 okay. yes, the replies to posts work on jschan even with javascript off. automatic board updates do not work (not sure how you'd do that without javascript) so far, jschan has 2 benefits over lynxchan in terms of functionality without javascript. in fact, it seems like the only two things that don't work are auto thread updates and clicking the post number dumping the quote into the quick reply, both of which i don't think are possible to do without javascript. anyway i'm done researching this, i just know jschan is more functional with js off than any of its competitors.

>>13613 I feel that it's not just a possibility, but a simple matter of fact. If stuff on the same level such as child trafficking islands were a thing and they were so flamboyant with that, why would something like this not be done and enjoyed as well? Sex islands and whatnot such as Epstein's weren't really kept under the rug, the guy literally had his plane named the loli Express, but other things that they don't wanna bother with the reaction from definitely are. It's exactly what they'd go for if a risk the same kind as Socialist voteing is what they're seeking. But the thing is, there really isn't an actual risk for any of them, maybe just the thrill of it without actually being there. Or just enjoying the lack of risk itself, since I feel like that's why they tend to be huge degenerates in the first place, rich people. Or at least have that degeneracy come out. With the Epstein happening, it was the most sloppy, obvious and batshit thing there could be, but they still got away with it and made everybody forgot about it a week or so after. That makes them very smug about it, and more sure than ever that anything could be salvaged. People really didn't care that the individuals running their countries and controlling them were living out their puppet fetish fantasies on children, not after the novelty went by. I think they figure at this point that no matter what they do and no matter how much dirt gets out there, they'll still walk away from it scot-free. Things are simply like this until society collapses on a major level. So, there's basically no risk for any extremely rich elite who wants to get involved with a sex island, and therefore nor with private gladiator matches. Anyway, I guess that's a whole another topic, I just think that it's actually very similar to the kid-fucking, is what I'm saying. It seems like every single person who gets a lot of money and influence has the worst brought out in them, no? Once they get high up enough the ladder, they just figure that why wouldn't they do these things, since the consequences are zero and there's no risk? Their worst and most primate desires get brought up, no matter how low it is, because very rich people are literal rotbrains. The only thing they can think of is having more power and influence, no matter how much they already do. Any sense of actually living and being a human being is out the window, because if it were not, all of them would settle down after making a couple million, which is more than enough for a lifetime as long as you're not braindead. The only thing these people live for is to have more and more status, so, they very much are retarded. Their brains deteriorate to the point where they can't have fun with or get stimulated by anything, and that's why we have them going around fucking kids and setting up gladiator matches, the latter which I'm saying with confidence, because it simply has to be true. Why would a billionaire not grab prisoners or people from third world, and LARP as the ancient kings watching gladiator matches alongside his peers? It's not like enjoying the spectating of violence while in the safety of their own is not something seen in the majority of people, it's just that the channels for it got pussified, for whatever reason. You don't watch people fight to the death anymore, you watch WWE, or UFC. And look at NASCAR, the only reason anybody watches it is because they wanna see a big car wreck, what else is there to like about it? These are trillion dollar industries, and I don't think it's arguable that a majority of the consisting audience just want to see things get fucked up. Or you just look up gore videos, but I don't think that the average person does so. Anyhow, if you did set up a big gladiator stadium in a major city and had it be legal, it'd probably be one of the most profitable ventures ever. Actually, maybe not, but I'll get to that thought later. It's just that it's not allowed, and thus people settle for alternatives. I'm not saying that everybody wants to see others get murdered rather than simply beat up, lol, but it makes sense once you come back to very rich people. They don't have the same limitation that the average person does for that kind of entertainment. It'd be insanely easy for them to set up some matches and invite a few friends over to party and watch it go down together. Basically, they're so devoid of soul that they can't really enjoy anything except abusing their lack of risk in doing anything, and especially degenerate things not open to the average person, like fucking kids whenever they feel like it. I can't think of a more very rich person thing than the picture of this. Since they can't get stimulated by other things, they need to go back to the most primate and easily obtained forms of entertainment. You can probably think of a lot of things you'd do with the opportunity if you were larger-than-life rich, but those zombies literally can't. There's a bunch more to say about all of that, but, I'm lazy. Fucking kids is basically rich people culture from what I figure, and it's likely the same here. Watching and being somehow involved in ancient-style gladiator battles but today would absolutely be rich people culture. Like I said, it's already a trillion dollar industry on it's own, that shows just how much the mass of people love it, why wouldn't elite individuals take it to the next level where they could have the same experience but a million times better? At least relative to their own depravity. Me saying gladiator islands is a figure of speech, of course, this could just be going down in a basement somewhere in Tokyo. But that'd be pretty cool. They could have these arenas built to make prisoners fight with guns and stuff, even. Anyway, the thing I said before with it being one of the most profitable ventures, what if that's not really the case? I mean, what if UFC is actually way more profitable than gladiator fights, even if people would absolutely love the latter? Maybe that's why they're not already a thing, because, you know, maybe it's fetching it far, but they'd even find a way to normalize gladiators in modern times if it meant more money in their hands by the end of it, lol. UFC or it's contemporaries aren't exactly like ancient gladiator matches where if you rooted for somebody, they'd probably be dead within the next two matches or something. With wrestling, the masses get to keep following whoever appeals to them, and they keep coming back for that reason. That simple factor might be what makes it way more profitable long-term. Because, that's what it's about, long-term. Things like WWE have fans that have been keeping up and giving them money for decades straight, because they know how to keep those fans. Maybe with senseless violence and no other flavor, people would simply not be interested in gladiator matches after the novelty wears off. It'd have a dedicated audience to it still, but nowhere on the scale of wrestling such as today and therefore it just wouldn't be worth the trouble. There's not really any room to sell merchandise because the contestants aren't going to be around long, no opportunity to market much, keep people coming in with drama and whatnot, or exploit the clout of who you're having go out there, nothing. A lot of the money from industries like this just comes from selling things outside of the show itself. It'd also likely be difficult to find people who feel like going out there and risking death, but that's another thing. It still comes to play, because again, people wouldn't be able to get invested in any of these fighters if they're all just literal whos every single time around. This is assuming you got past all the legal stuff, but, I guess the thought of that already makes it fantasy. I guess it really just wouldn't be worth to set anything like this up, for anything other than your own entertainment. Character limit.
>>13613 Lastly, what comes to me from all that, is that being a gladiator in ancient times would actually be preferable to being an UFC fighter. What would you rather pick, having your brain slowly stop working and be turned into mush as you get into fights where you keep getting hit over and over again and acquire brain damage from which you ultimately perish to, or just having an all-in fight where you either die or not? It's a quick death over slow torture that makes your life a living hell. I mean, have you ever seen a career wrestler who wasn't fucking braindead? It kind of figures that wrestling is way more profitable, because people also like following the lives of specific people and watch how they fall. Imagine if gladiators were made to beat each other up and stopped before any death actually happened, and forced into that a million times until they ultimately died. Doesn't that sound worse than a quick send-off? Anyhow, might as well add, it's funny how all of this sounds far-fetched and like being a total conspiracy nut when somebody puts it into words, but there's just no way that it's not a thing that happens. I mean, human bloodsport such as what I talked about is already a thing in third worlds. And, dogfights and cockfights are also a thing. By looking at that, you could argue that once people have the power and means to pit things against each other for either the entertainment or profit off it, then somebody, somewhere, will do it. Can't convince me that rich people don't set up gladiator matches.
>>13637 >having an all-in fight where you either die or not? Except that's not what happened in gladiatorial battles. Gladiators were the UFC fighters of antiquity; panem et circenses.

>>13634 WWE and the like are more of a theatrical show other than anything. The allure comes from the characters and scenarios, similar to some enemy of the week shonen manga/anime. Which reminds me of Kinnikuman, often regarded as the first modern shonen and it was all about wrestling. >>13637 I'm not that aware about the logistics that went on with Gladiator matches to be honest but I'll take your word for it. >>13638 I mean, sure, but not all of them leave when they're getting the money that they do, and inevitably get led to major health decline. When you think about it, isn't it actually kind of the same? They're keeping them chained with the amount of money they're giving them, why would you leave and go to do something else when this pays well and it's seemingly what you're good at? It's just more profitable overall to have it this way, so, why not keep them on a leash with gifts rather than confinement? And of course not being a literal slave fighter is better and way more comfortable, lol, but, it's kind of fun to think about how it's kind of similar, career wrestlers are just dumb. >because professional wrestling is choreographed. Sure, but the effects and damage caused by them is very real at times. It's not like people haven't died in the rings, and clear sign of brain damage isn't viewed in a bunch of wrestlers. You missed my point, I don't mean this like in WWE where they're obviously acting, just out of it and all. Quite a bunch of wrestlers weren't very well stable in the head, from my knowledge. >>13641 >WWE and the like Missing the point also. I obviously don't mean in the ring itself.
>>13642 That's just bad choices made out of greed for more The difference between having a choice or not is a big one, most boxers don't have any significant brain damage, at least medically, and that's an actual sport with blows to the head The UFC is disgustingly violent but they are quick to stop the fight, minimizing the brain damage supposedly. Plus, its a minority of people in combat sports who get brain damage, and that's usually over a very long period of time. Greed can affect anyone, people in different fields who do so just have different burdens to bear rather than potential brain damage from blows to the head. Incidences of death in the rings are so rare as to be outliers. In terms of stability in the head, that's just being warped from having too much money for an "ordinary" person.
>>13642 Well naturally, it probably takes some degree of innate psychopathy to fester such an environment, it's a controlled operation where every party is aware of the risk they are taking until maybe they don't anymore. There are definitely examples of wrestlers who are fucked in the head, like Chris Benoit. And endless others who eventually died due to long-term damage to their bodies or are now incapacitated. Sorry if I am kind of missing the point.
>>13643 Ah. I guess it's not as bad as I'm thinking it may be, I don't know, I just imagine that if you got hit in the head hard at least a couple or so times, it would add up to make you a little bit braindead after going on for far too long. But I suppose that's only a risk if you've been doing what you're doing for a really long time, and wouldn't really show itself in the span of an average career. I just had this image in my head that a wrestler slowly turns into a zombie as he does his job, lol, must be gathering that from some shitty YouTube video I watched half a decade ago. Although, a quick search says: >A 2018 study concluded that mild brain injury occurs in 23.6 percent of MMA fighters. So, I guess it is kind of like I said, it might not be turning them completely braindead and definitely doesn't put it to the same level of suffering as being a gladiator, lol, but, a little bit of brain damage definitely seems to be in there. I think 23% is kind of a big number for what it is, also. But I suppose it's more so the psychological effects you said, which on top of, wouldn't being out there and having to fight so often ultimately make somebody more prone to snapping and applying that same energy as in the ring into other situations? I think the most certain thing I've heard being talked about is that they tend to have anger problems and do a lot of drugs, and I guess that just figures. It's a thing that gets into your head either way, whether punched in there by a fist or not.

>>13648 Yeah, he did. Kino is pretty out there, cause it's just so good. And right, that crude sounding guitar sets a mood no matter what you're doing while listening to it, and a mood which is just nice. Even if it's melancholic, it's simply right. Works to ease the mind. That much is easy to gather from it, but I think there's also that it feels very personal when it sounds so raw. It's as if you're in the same room as him and he's just playing some guitar to you because he simply feels like it, and you're both bored so why not. Even if in reality you're just staring at the computer screen, you kind of get the same mood that you would as if that really were the situation at hand, do you not? It just sounds like having company. Like this song in it's exact form isn't really something that thousands of others than you have listened to also, even if it's obviously the case. You do consciously realize that you're still just doing what you're doing though, so, I guess that adds to the kind of sad feel that somehow you enjoy. A lot of acoustic tracks give the same feel of comfortable melancholy, but most of the time, at least from what I've heard, they still have some sense of production and "this song was made so you can listen to it later through a music player" feel to them. Does that make sense? Kino's track just makes me feel as if he's playing for his buddy only for the moment and isn't thinking anything of it, and letting his voice out as if that really is the situation. There are imperfections and all, but that just doesn't matter, it's simply making your time a little bit better and keeping you company. I guess that's why it feels as it does. Even now while listening to that second song you sent, I like it and it gives me a feel that I like and all, I'll actually save that, thanks, but it doesn't give off the same exact mood. With that particular piece it just sounds completely raw and on the lower quality side, so, I don't know, I guess that makes it feel close to you and easier to connect with. But enough rambling. I really like how the vocals are done on the second one there, I actually thought it was him mouthing things rather than talking at first, but I see that it's Spanish or something, no actual idea. But, listening to guitar accompanied by a language I don't even know is just such a comfortable feeling, you don't understand what's being said, but you definitely comprehend that it flows really well and comes out sounding great, it's like scat music if it were way slower paced and more meaningful, even while still being gibberish, lol, does that make any sense either? Sometimes I think that it would actually take away from listening to things like this if I did actually know the language. Being a stranger to what's being said but accompanied to the music is great, you get intimate with the sound if you listen to it enough, and you take your own meaning out of things like this. It's actually kind of an illusion break once I give in and look up the lyric translations for songs like this, because the meanings tend to stray away far from what I had subconsciously given the song. Which isn't a bad thing every single time, but, yeah, two sides of a coin. It's as if you were somehow best friends with someone and understood each other while not even being able to speak a language both of you understood. There are things in the world you really wouldn't be able to enjoy the same if you knew everything and anything, and maybe that's your one up over any god. And what do you think of this sort? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVVvOE20SpQ
>>13651 >learning japanese is worth it Based on what you say, yes, albeit I have much else to learn and Japanese is rather low in my list of priorities; I only watch anime when I don't have the fortitude to do anything else more straining and it's not like I'll use it for anything else, plus who's crazy enough to dedicate years to learning Kanji just for anime/manga? >learning spanish and only gaining the ability to talk to mexicans sounds pretty gay to me It may become the next lingua franca though.
>>13653 If we're talking about Roman gladiatorial matches, killing one's opponent was strictly illegal; there were penalties for serious injuries too, as gladiators were hard to replace. Gladiatorial battles were really antiquity's equivalent of WWE matches.
>>13654 Indeed, sometimes a lack of understanding of what's being said can improve a song for me. The lyrics might be complete drivel but if I don't understand what's being said then the only thing that can communicate with me is the melody itself. >tune you posted WOW, that has a great New Wave sound to it. I can hear and see the Joy Division influence (that cover art) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FogWT52e7Mk Here's a similarly sounding New Wave tune, this one pretty obscure. From Britain I believe. A bit more chipper.

>>13655 >who's crazy enough to dedicate years to learning Kanji just for anime/manga? Me. The Kanji part is overblown by most people, it sucks at first sure but it isn't that bad. Part of the way through you gain the ability to guess meanings of words based on their Kanji, even when listening. I was fluent enough to enjoy raw anime in a year and a half, after two years I could read just about any manga/LN that didn't include military speak. Also, there's more than just anime/manga/LNs. In the same entertainment vein there's YouTube, but also podcasts and blogs and such. >[Spanish] may become the next lingua franca though. English already has become the lingua franca. America is a big deal whether we like it or not and I can't imagine the average murican learning any second language even halfway to fluency. That and how English is so intertwined with computers and the internet.
>>13674 >it sucks at first sure but it isn't that bad It isn't a matter of it being hard or not, but adjusting to an entirely different way of representing words that isn't phonemic; I've heard it takes years to be fully habituated to it. The only practical benefit of learning Japanese, assuming you master the Kanji in doing so, is that it becomes possible to (at least partially) read Chinese even if the two languages are very distinct; that's one benefit of having a logographic script over a phonemic one. >there's YouTube, but also podcasts and blogs and such I don't really engage with Japanese content besides anime/manga/LNs. >America is a big deal whether we like it or not And America is already becoming a spic majority country (if it hasn't already). You should at least expect Spanglish to become the new lingua franca; if not, expect Spanish to become the lingua franca when Mexico becomes a white majority superpower as all the mongrels and undesirables are being shipped off to America. >English is so intertwined with computers and the internet Foreigners are using and incorporating English terms in their speech all the time, so that is not an obstacle for them. Regardless of the influence English wields over other languages, if any language were to accrue as much prominence as English does, it would easily overtake English because English has no regulating body like the Académie Française or the Real Academia Española; English is such a chaotic language, and so creolised already that it could easily be absorbed into any other language as a substratum. Just accept the imperium of the spics, anon.

>>13677 I admit the last one is conjecture; however, you have to be blind (or delusional) to deny that spics are catching up with white Americans (which is a verifiable FACT). Expect America to be partitioned between California and Detroit and a civil war to break out between spics and niggers any time soon.
>>13681 >Expect America to be partitioned between California and Detroit and a civil war to break out between spics and niggers any time soon. If the Feds get their way, you can add Europoors to that list as a newspaper in Sweden got ahold of an American document detailing that the U.S. plans to mass import (White) European citizens due to how much the influx of niggers and Spics have backfired on them.
>>13682 >American document detailing that the U.S. plans to mass import (White) European citizens I'm curious now; I thought the feds' intention all along was to frame whites for crimes they didn't commit by coaxing """"white"""" supremacists into shooting sprees. Sauce onegai.
>>13683 >Sauce onegai. Here's the article: https://archive.ph/xmRNv And, here's how I found out about the article: https://rumble.com/v1kzn89-the-morning-constitutional-9142022.html
>>13684 Well, European immigration doesn't seem to be the priority of the scheme; however, given the left's tendency to hysteria, if this is true then I wonder how the liberals feel about unwittingly supporting the feds' psyop to replace non-whites, kek.
>>13676 >I don't really engage with Japanese content besides anime/manga/LNs. I didn't either, that was what I was trying to get at. I found a nice podcast that explains various linguistics topics in interesting and easy enough to understand language and ended up getting and reading a few linguistics-related books in Japanese because of it. This is despite me not having any interest in that topic before starting to learn Japanese. I even found a small Japanese let's player that I enjoy watching because he always has these two friends in his videos and it reminds me of playing vidya with my friends way back when. >when Mexico becomes a white majority superpower whatafuck. This and the replies to it sound like schizoposting to me
>>13686 >This is despite me not having any interest in that topic before starting to learn Japanese A rather fortuitous circumstance if you ask me; besides, you already had the motivation prior to that, whereas I am currently unsure whether the return will be worth the investment in learning Japanese; finally, wouldn't that apply equally as well to any language? I would especially expect that from resuming German since it's associated with 17th-19th century philosophers and linguists. >whatafuck tl;dr there's a real, emerging global demand for Spanish speakers; while I myself don't intend to learn Spanish (since I don't plan on working in the wagecage), it cannot be denied.

How is one SUPPOSE to react when you declare that you're shutting down a board on one site, moving to another, and you cannot provide any explanation other than the same list of issues that exist and apply elsewhere? > Our motto is like the yukkuri, take it easy. "Taking it easy" ISN'T stumbling all over yourself to justify why you dropped one site for another. "Taking it easy" is explaining yourself because it's less work than crafting a narrative.
